About Me.
Christian Johnson is the esteemed owner of Chrissy Rae's Dance Academy, a Ph.D. student in communication, and a professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Her passion for dance, communication, and education drives her to share her expertise and love for these fields with others. An avid yogi, runner, and swimmer, Christian embraces a holistic approach to health and well-being.
Christian's journey with dance began at the age of two, quickly developing into a lifelong passion. She danced competitively from age seven through high school, serving as Colonel of the Dollies at Madison High School for two years. She continued her dance career at the collegiate level with the MCC Dance Company in Waco, Texas, earning numerous regional and national awards, including competing at the prestigious National Dance Alliance (NDA) competition in Daytona, Florida.
After graduating, Christian fulfilled her dream of opening her own dance studio, where she teaches various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and tap. She also choreographs routines for her students to perform in competitions and recitals, instilling her love of dance in the next generation.
In her free time, Christian enjoys practicing yoga, running, swimming, and spending quality time with family and friends. These activities help her relax and de-stress, maintaining a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. As a talented dancer, communicator, and educator, Christian is dedicated to making a positive impact on her community through her work at Chrissy Rae's Dance Academy.
